Data we store

VoBill stores bill information you choose to record, such as item, amount, type, category, time, notes and settings.

Bill records are stored locally on your iPhone. VoBill does not provide a public cloud account or store your bills in a VoBill-owned cloud database.

Voice and text input

You can enter bills by voice or text. VoBill uses that input to recognize amount, item, type and category.

Voice and text input is used for accounting features. Please avoid entering unrelated sensitive information.

AI processing and consent

VoBill processes bill text on your device first. On-device processing does not upload your data. If on-device AI is unavailable, and only after you explicitly grant permission, VoBill sends the text you submit to the VoBill service (vobill.app) and the third-party cloud AI provider Replicate, Inc. to identify the bill name, amount, transaction type and category.

For voice entry, only the recognized text is sent; the audio recording is not sent. VoBill does not retain request text. Replicate deletes it after one hour and does not use it for model training. You can decline or withdraw permission at any time under Settings > Cloud AI Data Sharing; AI bill recognition will then be unavailable. Replicate is required to provide the same or equivalent protection described in this policy.

iCloud sync and backup

If you enable iCloud, sync and backup are handled through your Apple account and iCloud.

Apple provides iCloud storage, sync and account security. You can manage iCloud permissions in iOS Settings.

Export and deletion

VoBill supports CSV export for backup, migration or further analysis.

You can clear records in the app. Deleted data may remain for a short time in device backups or iCloud sync state depending on system behavior.

Third-party services

VoBill may rely on iOS, iCloud and App Store capabilities for installation, sync, backup or purchases.

Those services are governed by Apple policies and terms.
